About Us

Our PTA Council

Our PTA Unit is a member of the San Ramon Valley Council of PTA’s, which now has 33 schools representing over $12 million of funding in our district schools.  What does that mean?  When our children need something, PTA speaks and the School Board listens.  The Legislative Advocacy Committee of our PTA Council takes our concerns all the way to the State, working with legislators to ensure our children are receiving all they need to thrive in our community and keeping us as parents informed about key issues.

Our PTA Unit

Specific to our school, our PTA strives to enhance our children’s experience while raising money for things not provided by the State and by extension our district.

Funds are received through membership dues (currently $17/individual or $32/family) and fundraising events.

Purposes of PTA:

To promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school, community and place of worship.

To raise the standards of home life.

To secure adequate laws for the care and protection of children and youth.

To develop between educators and the general public such united efforts as will secure for all children and youth the highest advantages in physical, mental, social and spiritual education.
